P1 · A network, not doorway pages

From regional hubs to four casinos

Useful hubs have genuinely different journeys: airport and Cornavin for Meyrin, Lausanne station for Prilly, Montreux station for the Riviera, Sierre for Crans-Montana. Communes without a distinct decision are grouped here.

Direct answer

Useful hubs have genuinely different journeys: airport and Cornavin for Meyrin, Lausanne station for Prilly, Montreux station for the Riviera, Sierre for Crans-Montana. Communes without a distinct decision are grouped here.

West: Geneva

From the airport, the use case is short but the terminal–stop–door path still needs observation. From Cornavin, the urban network and date determine the line. Vernier and other nearby communes do not justify standalone pages when the answer remains the same: use the TPG planner toward Grand-Hangar or Blandonnet.

Centre: Lausanne and Riviera

Lausanne station has a distinct decision toward Prilly-Malley. Renens belongs to the same rail logic and does not receive a substitution page. Montreux station is the natural Riviera hub; Vevey and nearby places use the regional network followed by the same Montreux final segment.

East: Valais

Sierre is the transfer point for the high plateau. Sion, Visp and other Valais origins converge on the same choice: rail to Sierre, then funicular and final link. The value lies in checking the final return and weather, not repeating a page for every commune.
